our mission: To connect our family of makers to make the world safer.
Who: Rose Costumes is calling on our vast community of artists to make DIY fabric face masks to be distributed to medical organizations, non-medical organizations, and individuals wherever they are in need of supplies. This non-profit movement is made up solely of volunteers who wish to lend their talent to helping their communities during this time of uncertainty.
Why: The Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a shortage of surgical masks needed by healthcare professionals around the world. We want to do our part to provide homemade face masks to institutions, organizations, and individuals who are NOT directly treating Coronavirus. If individuals and organizations who are not treating the virus have face masks of their own, it will free up the supply of CDC certified surgical and N95 masks for healthcare professionals who are on the front lines of this pandemic.
How You Can Help: Sew face masks at home and send them directly to Rose Costumes. From there, we will distribute the masks where they are needed.
Where: MASKS can be shipped or brought in person directly to Rose Costumes.
When: Our initiative begins immediately, and we will continue to supply the masks until it becomes unnecessary. If you know of an organization in need of masks, please reach out to us and let us know how many they will need. We will provide as many as we can!
We would also be happy to receive any donated supplies of fabric, thread, sewing machines, or any other equipment that can be used to make these masks. You can find the materials needed here.
