To continue our mission, we are always in need of donated supplies of fabric, thread, 1/4 inch elastic, sewing machines, or any other equipment that can be used to make face masks. You can find the materials needed to make masks here.

About project mask makers

When the Coronavirus outbreak arose, Rose Costumes shut our doors to the public in order to adhere to and encourage social distancing to keep the community safe. We have been a part of the Denton and North Texas community for over 40 years, and we felt compelled to use our unique skillset to help others.

In March of 2020, we founded and launched Project Mask Makers, a movement that creates and donates masks to essential workers, marginalized groups and vulnerable communities

So far, we have been able to donate masks to the entire Denton Postal Fleet, the National Guard, Navajo Nation and the Denton Police Department, as well as many assisted living centers, doctors offices, battered women's shelters, and struggling local businesses. We have donated over 11,000 masks, and we will continue to donate until it is no longer necessary.

We are dedicated to protecting those who are putting their lives at risk for the rest of us, and we refuse to capitalize on a pandemic. Mask donations will remain free, but we need your help urgently.

With our doors closed to business and no income coming in, we are desperately in need of financial aid to keep our lights on and our sewing machines running.

A donation to Rose Costumes will ensure free protective equipment gets into the hands of those who need it the most.
